Walls Can Talk
Walking around Vancouver taking photos of graffiti and street art was my gateway into making stencils, wheatpastes, murals and all the rest. I spent a year or two walking around documenting other people’s artwork before deciding it was time to try and make my own.
These photos were shown in my first ever group exhibition: Temporary Fix: Writing on the Wall, at Isabella Egan Gallery in Vancouver, June 2008. After the show, unsold works were donated to Purpose Secondary School in New Westminster, BC.
